Sinking in electoral fraud

The system to cheat has been institutionalized. It has been abetted by the sudden change in the Comelec software, from “version 3.4” to “version 3.5” without as much as an explanation to all political parties, partylists and election watchdogs about what happened to the source code, which apparently has been changed, with Comelec now tying itself in knots trying to say nothing changed in the source code that could have padded the votes of Bong Go and Ronald de la Rosa, as well as Rodante Marcoleta.

Weird software, weirder poll results

Computer experts are roundly condemning the Comelec for claiming that version 3.5 of the election management system (EMS) was used after a third-party audit. They said that when the 3.4 software was elevated to 3.5, the codes in the software were changed to mean it was debugged, some features were added or the security system was upgraded. If nothing was changed with the source code, why was the version changed?

Just plain dirty. This is the most decent thing one could use to describe the pathetic attempt of the militarist forces to spread the canard that Bayan Muna partylist was “disqualified” by the Commission on Elections and it appears to be the worst gimmick that can hardly compel voters to change their minds.

Vote back fake news’ prime target: BAYAN MUNA

The latest lie about Comelec’s disqualification of Bayan Muna is a tired gimmick. But it’s revealing and dangerous as it’s clearly meant to confuse voters and eliminate one of the strongest opposition voices before election day today.

No wonder the state has been zeroing in on the Makabayan Coalition, Bayan Muna and other progressive partylists. They have the people’s interest at heart and the agenda for what a just and prosperous Philippines should be.

Vote for peace advocates

Ultimately, may we choose the candidates who support the peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the NDFP, as it is a viable and less costly way to address the decades-long armed conflict in the country. “We invite the electorate to humbly seek God’s wisdom and guidance as they carefully discern and choose the candidates who prioritize peace. May our vote, valuable and powerful as it is, start a ripple of transformational change, reflecting our participation in peacemaking as children of God,” PEPP said.

Makabayan Coalition’s true victory

The National Democrats have again proven they are the real opposition. They could run a campaign with a (nearly) full slate, several partylists and a few local candidates with very little resources and against vicious attacks, emerging from it all hugging and congratulating each other while the trapos aren’t done backstabbing each other.
