Personal notes from the ground on the September 21 arrests

Sara and the pathetic Duterte cult had been demanding that Marcos Jr. resign and turn over the reins of government to their goddess.

DPWH: Empire of graft

The Filipino people must start asking serious questions about why the DPWH has become the hub of graft and why members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate have treated it as their piggy bank, with congressional insertions bloating the department’s annual appropriations and DPWH officials wondering why hundreds of billions of pesos are being parked with them.

Speaker‘s quitting won’t absolve him

By following the evidence, all those who got the soot from FCPs and other deals must face the music, or enjoy the dirge, or possibly sing the ditty popularized by The Turtles: “So Happy Together.”

Bojie Dy as savior of HOR’s tattered reputation?

That a dynast who has an unremarkable legislative record and himself been accused of graft and corruption is chosen as the fourth highest official of the country betrays a dearth of choice among the president’s allies in Congress.
