‘Missing’ receipts puzzle Magallanes crypt buyers

Owners of columbarium crypts at the Risen Christ Memorial Garden (RCMG) at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Magallanes Village, Makati City have asked Jose F. No compensation for Prudencio Calubid Jr.

Calubid Jr. will be subject to further injustice since the state cannot be expected to compensate him for unjust prosecution. Moreover, under Republic Act No. 7309, only those convicted are eligible for compensation by the Board of Claims. The compensation is based on the number of months of imprisonment or detention, for a maximum of P1,000 per month.
