Spokespersons like Celine Pialogo and Salvador Panelo should report to the MMDA and the President the feedback and criticism about the worsening mass transport crisis which they get from the public. That is their obligation. They should not make matters even worse by making stupid, insensitive and manufactured statements that don’t solve but add injury to the daily plight of commuters.

Certainly, Pialogo’s threat to file cyberlibel suits smacks not just of arrogance but also of ignorance.
Filing a case against satirical Twitter account Barurot News just shows how misinformed she is.
Pialogo must also be told that she is not a queen or part of monarchy. She is a public servant, one whose words and actions are not beyond scrutiny and criticism, satire or sarcasm.
