Activists call Duterte ‘terrorist’ on Bonifacio Day

On the 154th anniversary of Filipino revolutionary hero Andres Bonifacio, November 30, 2017, protesters took to the streets of Manila to defy what they call terroristic rule of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Philippine National Police blocked the protesters from reaching Mendiola and used truncheons and water cannons.

A crackdown on all opposition forces was unleashed by Philippine Duterte barely a week after the visit of U.S. Pres. Trump in Manila.

Protesters shouted “US and Duterte are the terrorists!”
